A Swedish Gustavian period trag sofa, circa 1800. The frame is constructed with a straight back and sweeping solid wood side panels. The front apron features centered floral relief carvings flanked by square carved rosettes. The piece is supported by classic turned and tapered legs. The frame retains its original salmon red painted finish. Currently fitted with a four-cushion seat and backrest arrangement.
