The piece features a functional drop-leaf mechanism, forming a half-moon profile when closed to act as a console, and expanding to a full surface when open. The table retains its preserved decorative painting, which includes a central landscape vignette surrounded by dark geometric borders and red foliate motifs. The frame is supported by painted, turned and block legs resting on structural base supports.
