19th c, Late Gustavian Pedestal Cabinet

A Swedish late Gustavian to early Empire pedestal cabinet, circa 1810-1820. The piece features a front door panel detailed with a textured pewter and lead mount. The classical mount design centers on an anthemion (palmette) springing from a rosette, flanked by twisted stems and poppy pods. The cabinet retains its original painted finish.
