Early 19th century Gustavian stools featuring tapered, fluted legs with carved detail at the upper collar and rosette motifs set into the frame corners. The square seat frame supports an exposed original webbing and upholstery foundation. The painted surface displays original white pigment showing extensive wear showing great patination. ca 1800 Sweden.
