A pair of cast iron and wood benches, model "Trädgårdsmöbel Nr 2" (Garden Furniture Nr 2), designed by Folke Bensow in the 1920s and produced by Näfveqvarns Bruk. The construction features slatted wooden seating supported by structural cast iron end frames. The splayed bases utilize cast cross-stretchers for stability and terminate in stylized decorative shell finials flanking the seat plane. Both the wood and iron elements present a unified dark painted finish. The design is historically documented, with pieces from this specific series exhibited at the 1925 Paris World Exhibition and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1927.
